Missions
A Message from Our Pastor
Missions outreach is not just something we do - it is the heartbeat of our church! Currently, we support 85 missionary projects around the world with a missions budget of over $279,000.
We recently helped one of our own missionary families in Brazil purchase a new building. In one Sunday, God allowed our church family to give almost $40,000 towards this project. We praise God for the tender hearts of our people towards missions.
Our church is totally committed to helping build bridges around the world to reach those who are lost and without Jesus Christ. Jesus came into the world to save sinners (I Timothy 1:15).
Missions is God's heartbeat - Our heartbeat!

UPDATED February 2010
Dear Praying Friends, As 2010 begins and we look over the events of this past year, we rejoice in the wonderful blessings of God in 2009. My wife Suzanne and I were married in September of '09, and she has been a tremendous asset to my ministry since then. The Lord continually met our every need as we traveled and ministered in different churches throughout 2009. I drove over 40,000 miles to meetings and was able to present our ministry in 69 churches. This year we have also seen our support rise up to 60%. November started off in a wonderful way with us presenting our ministry at a missions conference in Alabama. We also had the opportunity to present our burden for India to each of the classes in the Christian school at that church. We spent the rest of November in Tennessee and West Virginia. Our first Sunday in December, we presented our ministry to two good churches in West Virginia. Sunday after the evening service, we drove down to BIMI for a few days of candidate school. I had already been approved as a BIMI missionary. Suzanne now had her turn to stand before the board to be examined. We were both thankful that she was approved and is now also officially a BIMI missionary. We were very thankful that, even though we had to be at BIMI for a couple of days, we still had five meetings in the first half of December. God brought a special blessing in our last meeting of the year. After preaching a Wednesday night service in Indiana, two teenagers came forward at the invitation and accepted Christ as Savior. The new year brings with it many challenges along with many blessings. We are excited to see what the Lord has planned for us this year. Suzanne and I are happy to announce that we are expecting our first baby this year. The baby is due to be born the second week in June. This is also the year that we will pack up our belongings and move to India. The baby will delay our leaving a little, but we hope to be in India by the fall of this year. Thank you all for your continued prayer and financial support. In His service, Sean Canavan
